Chowder Cup Team goes 2-1

Players from 5 different states, representing 11 different hockey clubs came together to compete in the Annual Chowder Cup held in Massachusetts every July. The tournament is open to players age 17-19 and is the largest tournament of its kind. 96 teams from all over North America entered the tournament. The skill level was high with many teams featuring Division 1 current players and commits.

In order to participate, each player was required to raise a minimum of $325. Donations were collected on our website. Many players surpassed the minimum. July is Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Month.

Our team was able to raise $6,328 for juvenile arthritis research.

Our sponsor, Info Solutions LLC, provided the uniforms so our only expense was the tournament entry fee.

The tournament is broken down into 4-team brackets. To advance to the playoffs you must win your bracket. We ended up in a 3-way tie at 2 wins and 1 loss. Based on the tiebreaker of goals allowed we did not advance.
