Like Stanley Cup Champion Jordan Binnington, JP is the epitome of making the most of an opportunity. The starting goaltender was unable to make a mid-season EJEPL Showcase during the 2017-18. JP stepped up to the challenge. He posted three shutouts in four games, blanking both a guest Tier I team and the eventual Tier II National Champions. His strong play continued and solidified the team's playoff spot. He posted a league best 0.75 GAA with a 0.946 save percentage.
JP took over the starting position for the 2018-19 season where recorded a 1.27 GAA and a 0.938 save percentage which was good for second at the EJEPL U16 D1 level.
JP will return to the Huskies for his Junior year where he will play for their U18 team.
The Huskies play in both the Chesapeake Bay Hockey League (CBHL) and the Eastern Junior Elite Hockey League (EJEPL).
